Isn’t God wonderful?  Sometimes I marvel his grace.  What is grace?  I like the definition given by Marcus Bishop in his book, “Our Covenant of Prosperity”.  Grace is an empowering of God’s ability in your life.  In other words, when we are unable to overcome the difficult things in life, God’s grace is available to give us the power we need to overcome.  We do not need to depend on our own strength and ability.  I like what Timothy says, “I am strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” (2nd Timothy 2:1)  Paul says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace [overcoming power] to help in time of need.”

The next time you find you are unable to overcome a situation, bring it to the Lord boldly and expect His overcoming power to help you.  He is not only willing to help, but He is able!  “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye, always, having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”  2nd Corinthians 9:8. Then, say like Timothy, “I am strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus!”
