April, 2018

Spring is a time of renewal.  Everything seems to come alive again.  The grass turns green again, the buds on the trees start to produce leaves, the dogwood trees start to bloom and the daffodils and tulips emerge from under the leaves.  Everything comes back to life again.  It reminds me of when we are born-again.  “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17.  Because of what Jesus did on the cross, I can be forgiven and start anew.  I am a new creation!  Because of Him, I can have hope for my future.  Because of my faith in Him, I can have hope, peace and joy.  “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13.  Let God become your hope as you trust in Him.  He cares about you and wants you to have a life that is prosperous and successful “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3rd John 2

If you have never been born again and received Christ as your Lord and Savior, I urge you to do so now.  Simply ask Him to forgive you, acknowledge Him as the Son of God who has risen from the dead and repent, or turn away from your sins.  The Bible says, “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”  Romans 10:9-10.  May the Lord bless you as you live for him.
