HAVE  A "CAN DO" ATTITUDE

Did you ever feel that there is something in your life that you just can't get the victory over?  You have repeatedly tried, but were unsuccessful?  You feel like a failure in this area and are just about to give up,

or have quit trying altogether?

What has happened is that we have developed a belief  in the inability to accomplish what we want to. We believe that it is impossible, so when we attempt another try we are doomed to failure because our believing is wrong.  This wrong thinking is a stronghold.  It has a strong hold in our mind and the Word of God tells us how to get rid of it.

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

 2nd Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV

WE take captive every thought that says we can't

WE cast it out of our minds

WE replace that thought with "I can"

It requires a repeated effort on our part.  The stronghold wasn't "built in a day".  We must keep at it in order to be successful.  Notice something here; it is our responsibility.  God will perform his part when we have performed our part. Our part is to change our unbelief to believing.  We must develop a "can do" mentality. Then we will see the victory.

It rests on this scripture: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  Philippians 4:13 KJV

Memorize this scripture and repeat it many times throughout the day.  When you have of thoughts of "I can't", replace those thoughts with "I can do all things through Christ."  Make another attempt only after you have developed a solid belief built up in you that "you can" do what has defeated you in the past.

When Satan brings up past failures, tell him, " I can do this because the Word says, "I can. . ."  We defeat Satan by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. (Rev. 12:11)

Each of us deals with things that are challenging in our lives, but God wants us to have victory in all things.

"If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."  Mark 9:23 KJV

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

1 Corinthians 15:57 KJV

". . .this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." 1 John 5:4 KJV

Let's use our faith and obtain the victory!
